    摘要:

    为了突破声光偏振耦合和倍频级联过程中工作波长和晶体工作温度的限制,采用非周期的光学超晶格进行了级联过程的研究。光学超晶格的结构由自调制算法计算得到,在此基础上对晶体内的级联耦合过程进行了研究。模拟结果显示,声光偏振旋转和倍频过程间存在着竞争效应,它们之间竞争过程可由应变场振幅控制,通过改变应变振幅的大小可实现输出光波的调节。

    Abstract:

    To surmount the tight constraints on the operating temperature and wavelength in the process of acousto optic polarization rotation cascaded frequency doubling, the use of aperiodically optical superlattice to realize the cascading of arbitrary acousto optic (AO) polarization rotation and frequency doubling was proposed in this paper. A self adjusting (SA) algorithm is suggested for designing the microstructure of aperiodically optical superlattice. The numerical simulation shows that there exists competition between the AO polarization rotation and the frequency doubling. The competition process can be controlled by the amplitude of strain, and the adjusting of the output optical wave can be realized by the change of the strain amplitude.
