Abstract:This paper introduced main applications of high power ultrasonic transducers′ materials in field of industry and national defense. We found that, by improvements in some processes of conventional piezoelectric ceramic manufacturing technology, such as second wet mill, and with an optimized quaternary system piezoelectric ceramics′ ingredients, we can produce high power and high Curie temperature (TC=330 ℃) ultrasonic transducers′ materials with better piezoelectric performances. The measured d33 can reach to 350, the mechanical quality factor of Qm is 1 200 and its kp is 0.6, and the ceramics has the features of good uniformity, high mechanical strength and good impact resistance.
