In addition to dielectric property, conductivity of the Cadoped PbTiO3 ceramics (PCT) is a very important performance parameter when it is used as piezoelectric and pyroelectric materials. The Cadoped PbTiO3 ceramics were prepared by traditional solidstate process. The effects of Sb2/3Mn1/3 doping amount and sintering aids NiO, Bi2O3 on crystallographic phase, dielectric loss and conductivity of Cadoped PbTiO3 ceramics were investigated in this work. Results show that the modified ceramics with pure perovskite structure are obtained after sintered at 1 180 ℃ for 2 h, and the dielectric loss decreases significantly. Temperature stability of resistance of Cadoped PbTiO3 ceramics at 20~40 ℃ is influenced significantly by Sb2/3Mn1/3 doping amount. Resistivetemperature coefficient (TCR) of ceramic increases with the increase of Sb2/3Mn1/3 content. At 20~40 ℃ the resistivetemperature coefficient of Pb0.80Ca0.20(Sb2/3Mn1/3)0.05Ti0.95O3 ceramic is effectively decreased after NiO and Bi2O3 is added into the ceramic. Resistivetemperature coefficient of ceramics at 20~80 ℃ are hardly influenced by element types and doping amount, and the TCR value is about -0.15 μ℃-1.
