    摘要:

    以(99.99%)Ga2O3和Tb4O7为原料,按照化学计量比并适当富镓配料,采用固相反应法(分段升温工艺)合成高纯、单相的铽镓石榴石(Tb3Ga5O12,简称TGG)多晶料。使用提拉法(CZ)成功生长出44 mm×70 mm,外观完整无开裂、无螺旋的TGG晶体。经X线衍射分析、密度测试、晶体成分测试表明,生长的晶体结构完整,结晶性好;晶体的密度为7.14 g/cm3,与理论值接近;晶体中Tb与Ga摩尔比为66%,可能存在少量Ga空位。

    Abstract:

    The highpurity and singlephase terbium gallium garnet (Tb3Ga5O12,TGG) polycrystal was synthesized by the raw materials of 99.99% Ga2O3 and Tb4O7 in stoichiometric weights with proper excess of Ga through the solid phase reaction method (the segmentation warmingup technology). An integral, crackfree, spiralfree TGG single crystal with size of 44mm×70mm was grown successfully by Czochralski(CZ) method. The TGG polycrystal and asgrown crystals were characterized by Xray diffraction spectroscopy, density and composition analysis. XRD analysis. The results indicate that the asgrown crystal is integrated in structure and crystallized well. The density of TGG single crystal is 7.14 g/cm3, very closed to the theoretical value. The composition analysis result shows that the ratio of Tb to Ga is 66%, that indicates that there exists a small amount of vacant of Ga.
