Abstract:A temperature and humidity monitoring system for museum collections based on WSN operating at 433 MHz has been designed in this work. The system uses SI4432 wireless transceiver and STM8L microprocessor as the core, and the temperature and humidity informations were collected by SHT15. The designed communication protocol enables the system to have the characteristics of Ad hoc network, automatic routing and lowpower. The experimental results show that the proposed system can monitor the temperature and humidity conditions, and automatically send the collected data to the monitoring host. The system has the features of low bit error rate and packet loss rate. The acquisition, management and analysis of the temperature and humidity data, network status can be realized through the monitor.
