Abstract:Based on the enery harvesting of the piezoelectric material and the electrorheological effect of the electrorheological elastomers, a circular piezoelectric vibrator damper is designed and manufactured in this work. The damping experiment has been carried out in the piezoelectric electric field, no electric field and E=1 000 V electric field. The results show that at the conditions of lowfrequency amplitudes of <50 Hz, E=1 000 V and being piezoelectricpowered, the damper in d33 mode has better damping effect than that of no electric field. This indicates that the damper has been selfpowered, and the piezoelectric material can be used to electrically control and adjust the damping of the electrorheological elastomer.
