Abstract:According to the demand of pressure monitoring in the field of energy and chemical industry,and combining with the dual fiber Bragg grating(FBG) sensing principle, a fiber grating pressure sensor to meet the practical engineering application has been designed in this work. The sensing structure combined with a bellows and a cantilever beam, the problem of cross sensitivity of temperature on pressure measurement was disappeared, and the sensing characteristics of the sensor was analyzed through detailed theory and calibration experiment. The results show that the sensor has the advantages of self temperature compensation, good linearity and repeatability, high precision and so on, especially suitable for oil, coal, chemical and other flammable and explosive environment pressure monitoring, and has a good application prospects.
